When pain becomes part of your everyday life, it can affect everything, how you move, how you sleep, what you enjoy, and how much of your day revolves around trying to feel better.
I help you work with the patterns that can influence how your nervous system responds to pain, so you can experience greater comfort, move through life with more confidence, and get back to doing more of what you love.

Living with chronic pain can be exhausting, especially when it affects things you used to do without a second thought. Getting out of bed, sitting through a workday, taking a walk, or spending time with family can become harder than they should be.
You may find yourself planning activities around your pain, turning down invitations, or pushing through discomfort because you don’t want to miss out, only to pay for it afterward.
And when treatments haven’t provided the relief you hoped for, or tests don’t fully explain why you’re hurting, the frustration can be overwhelming. You know your pain is real, even when other people don’t seem to understand what you’re going through.
Over time, chronic pain can start determining what you do, where you go, and how much of your life you feel able to enjoy.
Ordinary tasks like walking, sitting, standing, or doing household chores can become difficult.
Plans, hobbies, and time with people you love can take a back seat when pain gets in the way.
Pain can make it difficult to get comfortable, fall asleep, or stay asleep through the night.
Not knowing how you’ll feel can make it difficult to plan ahead or commit to activities.
Pain is real, even when tests or scans don’t fully explain why you’re hurting.
Pain isn’t determined solely by what’s happening in your muscles, joints, or other tissues. Your brain and nervous system also play an important role in how pain signals are processed and experienced.
When pain continues over time, the nervous system can become more sensitive and reactive. This can amplify pain signals or contribute to pain persisting even when an original injury has healed.
Stress, poor sleep, emotions, movement, and other experiences can also influence how strongly pain is felt. That helps explain why your pain may change from one day to the next, sometimes without an obvious reason.
That doesn’t mean your pain is “all in your head.” It means that changing how your nervous system responds may be another way to help you experience relief.
We start by understanding how chronic pain shows up specifically for you: where you experience it, what seems to make it better or worse, and how it affects your movement, sleep, activities, and everyday life.
From there, we work with the patterns that may be contributing to your nervous system’s sensitivity. Hypnosis is one of the tools I use to help you become deeply focused and receptive to change, making it easier to develop different responses to pain and the sensations associated with it.
You’ll remain aware and in control throughout the process. There’s no losing control, revealing secrets, or doing anything against your will. This isn’t stage hypnosis. It’s focused, collaborative work customized around your particular experience of pain.
The goal isn’t to convince yourself that you don’t hurt. It’s to help change how your nervous system responds so pain has less influence over what you can do and how you live.
I’m a Board Certified Hypnotherapist with a master’s degree and more than 20 years of experience helping people find relief from chronic pain.
Chronic pain can look very different from one person to the next. Where you experience it, how it affects your life, and what seems to make it better or worse are highly individual, which is why I don’t use a one-size-fits-all process.
Every session is customized around you, your experience of pain, and the patterns we uncover together.
We’ll work at a pace that feels comfortable, with the goal of helping you experience meaningful relief and return to more of the activities you enjoy.
I work exclusively online via Zoom, so you can do this work privately and comfortably from your own home.
You don’t have to keep planning your life around pain or missing out on the things you enjoy. Change is possible — and it can start here.
