Fibromyalgia can affect far more than how your body feels. When pain, fatigue, poor sleep, and brain fog keep interfering with your life, it can feel like your body is working against you.
I help you work with the patterns that can influence how your nervous system responds to pain so you can feel better, function better, and get more of your life back.

Living with fibromyalgia can be exhausting in ways that are difficult for other people to understand. The pain is hard enough, but it can come with fatigue, poor sleep, brain fog, and the constant uncertainty of not knowing how you’re going to feel from moment to moment.
You may find yourself planning around your energy, turning down things you want to do, or pushing through because you don’t want to disappoint the people around you, only to pay for it afterward.
And when tests don’t provide clear answers or treatments haven’t helped as much as you hoped, it can be incredibly frustrating. You know what you’re experiencing is real, even when other people don’t seem to understand it.
Over time, fibromyalgia can start affecting not just how you feel, but how much of your life you feel able to live.
Widespread pain, aching, tenderness, or discomfort that can change from moment to moment.
Feeling drained or exhausted even when you haven’t done enough to explain it.
Sleeping through the night but still waking up feeling like you never really rested.
Trouble concentrating, finding words, remembering things, or thinking clearly.
The pain you feel with fibromyalgia is real, even when tests or scans don’t provide a clear explanation for why you’re hurting.
Pain isn’t created only by what’s happening in your muscles, joints, or tissues. Your nervous system and brain are involved in processing pain and determining how strongly those signals are experienced.
Over time, that system can become more sensitive and reactive. Sensations that might otherwise register as mild can feel much stronger, and the nervous system can continue producing a pain response even when there isn’t new injury or damage occurring.
Stress, poor sleep, exhaustion, emotions, movement, and other experiences can also influence that response, which helps explain why fibromyalgia symptoms can fluctuate so much from moment to moment.
That doesn’t mean the pain is “all in your head.” It means there may be an opportunity to change how your nervous system is responding to it.
We start by understanding how fibromyalgia shows up specifically for you: where and how you experience the pain, what seems to intensify or ease it, and how things like stress, sleep, activity, thoughts, and emotions may affect what you experience.
From there, we work with the patterns that may be keeping your nervous system overly sensitive and reactive. Hypnosis is one of the tools I use to help you become deeply focused and receptive to change, making it easier to influence how your mind and body respond to pain and other sensations.
You’ll remain aware and in control throughout the process. There’s no losing control, revealing secrets, or doing anything against your will. This isn’t stage hypnosis. It’s focused, collaborative work customized around you and your experience with fibromyalgia.
The goal isn’t to convince yourself that you don’t hurt. It’s to help your nervous system respond differently so pain doesn’t have to dominate so much of your life.
I’m a Board Certified Hypnotherapist with a master’s degree and more than 20 years of experience helping people create meaningful change.
Fibromyalgia can look very different from one person to the next. Where you experience pain, what seems to intensify it, and how symptoms affect your everyday life are highly individual — which is why I don’t use a one-size-fits-all process.
Every session is customized around you, your symptoms, and the patterns we uncover together.
We’ll work at a pace that feels comfortable, with the goal of helping you experience meaningful relief and get more of your life back.
I work exclusively online via Zoom, so you can do this work privately and comfortably from your own home.
You don’t have to keep planning your life around pain, fatigue, and how you might feel from moment to moment. Change is possible, and it can start here.
